EDU 309A - Introductory Field Experience

The structured Practicum is an opportunity for candidates to participate in the school community. Candidates will participate with school staff under the direction of the school administration and course instructor. This may include observing, interviewing, and assisting in all aspects of the school day to begin to implement theory to practice from courses covered in the elementary education program concurrent with the experience. Candidates will demonstrate the professional traits required for entry into the education profession.
