Anthropology/Sociology w/Anthropology Concentration


Complete all institutional graduation requirements.

Anthropology/Sociology w/Anthropology Concentration requires a minimum of 65 credits to complete the major. A “C-” grade or better is required in all graded Anthropology and Sociology courses that are used to meet program requirements. A 2.00 GPA or better in all transcribed Anthropology or Sociology courses, including both transferred courses and those taken at EOU, is required to complete the program. S/U courses may not be elected for program requirements.

Students will be required to take a college-level statistics course of at least 4 credits with a grade of C- or better and a mathematics course at the 100-level or above, with a grade of “C-” or better. Each Students must demonstrate computer literacy in a way appropriate to his or her individual plans and approved by the student’s adviser.

Students will be required to take a college-level mathematics course at the 100-level or above with a grade of “C-” or better and a statistics course of at least 4 credits with a grade of C- or better to complete this program
MATH - Complete a college-level mathematics course at the 100-level or above with a grade of C- or better
STAT - Complete a college-level statistics course of at least 4 credits with a grade of C- or better

Lower Division Required Courses: 15 credits


Anthropology Concentration Required Courses: 30 credits


Complete a minimum of 30 credit hours

Electives


Complete 9 additional upper division ANTH elective credits from the list below

Sociology Required Electives: 20 credits


Take at least 20 credits in Sociology

Total credits required for major: 65
